Matt Lloyd
Assistant Professional
PGA Associate
I first came to Santa Teresa Golf Club with my family when I was 8 years old taking lessons from Director of Golf, Terry Sullivan, PGA and quickly falling in love with the game of golf.
I began competing in our monthly Santa Teresa Junior Golf Club tournaments, eventually progressing to local and national events as I pursued my goal of playing college golf. After a successful junior golf career through high school, I went on to play collegiately at Purdue University and the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.
After stepping away from the game of golf for a short time to pursue a professional career in banking, I am incredibly grateful to have returned to Santa Teresa Golf Club, now serving as Assistant Professional and learning from two of the best—John Snopkowski, PGA and Terry Sullivan, PGA. The highs and lows of my journey have shaped my coaching philosophy, which is rooted in building a strong foundation for enjoyable, lifelong golf. I truly believe when we focus on ENJOYMENT and commit to LEARNING, extraordinary PERFORMANCE will follow!
I am confident in my ability to support anyone ready to take that path.
